The 3rd Canada-Ukraine CoProduction Meetings and Conference #UCANCOPRODUCE. Film Production and Distribution in Wartime
On February 20, the 3rd Conference on coproduction in the film industry between Ukraine and Canada will be held as part of the #ucancoproduce project. The program will focus on film production and distribution during the war. The event will take place in the round table format on the premises of the Embassy of Canada to Germany in Berlin.
On February 20, the 3rd Conference on coproduction in the film industry between Ukraine and Canada will be held as part of the #ucancoproduce project. The program will focus on film production and distribution during the war. The event will take place in the round table format on the premises of the Embassy of Canada to Germany in Berlin.
On January 1, 2021, the Canada-Ukraine Audiovisual Coproduction Treaty entered in effect. Under the treaty, producers from Canada and Ukraine can create coproduction projects, drawing on the support of both countries. At #UCANCOPRODUCE, producers will learn everything about starting a Canada-Ukraine treaty coproduction and will have the chance to meet a potential partner right there.
The project is implemented in partnership and with the support of the Ukrainian Motion Picture Association, Department of Canadian Heritage, Ukrainian State Film Agency, Telefilm Canada, and the Embassy of Canada to Ukraine.
