The 2nd Canada-Ukraine CoProduction
Meetings and
Conference
The 2nd Canada-Ukraine CoProduction Meetings and Conference is a series of online events (сonferences, pitchings, and individual meetings) that brings together efforts, resources, and talents of Canadian and Ukrainian audiovisual creatives for the common success.
On January 1, 2021, the Canada-Ukraine Audiovisual Coproduction Treaty entered in effect. Under the treaty, producers from Canada and Ukraine can create coproduction projects, drawing on the support of both countries. At #UCANCOPRODUCE, producers will learn everything about starting a Canada-Ukraine treaty coproduction, and will have the chance to meet a potential partner right there.

The project is implemented in partnership and with the support of the Ukrainian Motion Picture Association, Canadian Media Producers Association, Department of Canadian Heritage, Ukrainian State Film Agency, Telefilm Canada and the Embassy of Canada to Ukraine.

Application for producer
Producers from Canada and Ukraine are welcome to apply for the #ucancoproduce program.

You can register as a producer without a project to get access to the full e-catalogue of the partner's country's projects and attend online pitching of selected projects. Based on the applications, the catalogue will be formed shortly after the application deadline on October 27, 2021. All registered members will have access to the catalogue.

You can also register as a producer with projects (up to 3 projects per applicant) to be listed in the full e-catalogue and to be selected for the online pitching. The audience of the pitching is producers from Canada and Ukraine, film funds and film commissions. Based on the applications, the selection of the projects (up to 12 projects from each country) to be presented at the online pitching will be announced soon after the application deadline.

Application and registration deadline - October 27, 2021.

To submit the project(s) you need to provide the following data: short synopsis, genre, timing, information about the producer and the company, etc.
