Kyiv Distillery (first name – The state-owned wine warehouse #1) – a unique complex of industrial buildings of late XIX century, Designed by Kyiv civil engineer Vladimir Bessmertny. Built in 1896, it covers an area of 1.7 hectares (4.2 acres) of land.
The complex consists of technologically interconnected chain of brick buildings, creating a single corner house with basement tier formed by vertical relief. The main building is of trapezoid form, one of the buildings (stokehold) has an original semi-cylinder roof. The floors in industrial halls are covered with tiles.
